About the Hub

A house with no walls, only pages.

The Global Haitian Literary Productions Hub (GHLPH) is an independent, non-profit archive and stage for the literature of Haiti and its diaspora. We gather the work of Haitian writers wherever they live and write — from Port-au-Prince and Jacmel to Montréal, Brooklyn, Miami, Paris, Dakar and beyond.

Our mission is simple and stubborn: to make sure no Haitian literary voice is lost to distance, language, or time. We archive, translate, publish and stage the literature of a people whose tongue is itself a survival — a place where Kreyòl, French and the in-between sound full of memory.

  • Preserve

A living catalogue of poetry, prose, theatre, oral history and manuscripts — accessible to readers and researchers worldwide.

  • Translate

Bridges between Kreyòl, French, English and Spanish, so that Haitian letters travel as widely as Haitians themselves.

  • Publish & Stage

Anthologies, readings, residencies and festivals that put contemporary Haitian writers in front of new audiences.
